Data Science

You will be responsible for using large datasets to build and/or validate models that, collectively, optimize services or validate new products by employing analytical strategies to test the effectiveness of various new business hypotheses.

In addition to the Data Science role, the team consists of Visualization Engineers, API Developers, Data Engineers, and Business Consultants with extensive experience in the field.

They should be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Specifically, the duties of the position will include:

• Conduct quantitative analysis of the data and its results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports.
• Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of personal curiosity, with a focus on what drives business performance.
• Work closely with other departments—such as sales, technology and projects, technical operations, business, and senior management—to prioritize business and information needs.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and/or patterns in large and complex datasets ranging from a few thousand to hundreds of millions of records.
• Create presentations to share analysis findings with internal teams or our clients' external partners.
• Carry out daily tasks as part of an agile, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.

You must have experience using data analysis and data mining methods, have used data tools to build and implement models, use or create algorithms, and create or run simulations.

Knowledge and experience in:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data analysis, R, or the use of tools such as KNIME
• Proficiency in statistical and/or machine learning models for tasks such as classification, regression, and time series forecasting.
• Experience with query languages such as SQL and NoSQL
• Technical expertise in data modeling, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
