Data Science

You will be responsible for the use of large data sets to build and/or validate models, which together optimize services, or validate new products with the use of analytical strategies to test the effectiveness of different new business hypotheses.

The team, apart from the Data Science role, is formed by Visualization Engineers, API Developers, Data Engineers and Business Consultants with extensive experience.

They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams.

In detail, the duties of the position will be

• Perform quantitative analysis of data and results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reporting.
• Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity, with an eye on what drives business performance.
• Work together with other areas such as commercial, technology and projects, technical operations, business and senior management to prioritize commercial and information needs.
• Identify, analyze and interpret trends and/or patterns in large and complex data sets ranging from a few thousand to hundreds of millions of records.
• Create presentations to share analysis findings with internal or external areas of our clients.
• Develop daily activities being part of an agile, collaborative and results-oriented environment.

Must have experience using data analysis / data mining methods, have used data tools to build and implement models, use / create algorithms and create / run simulations.

Knowledge and experience in:

• Knowledge in programming languages such as Python for data analysis, R, or use of tools such as KNIME.
• Proficiency in statistical and/or machine learning models for tasks such as classification, regression and time series prediction.
• Experience in the use of query languages such as SQL and Non-SQL
• Technical expertise in data modeling, data mining and segmentation techniques.

We accept people who are in other cities of the country. Preferably in the south zone. It is a requirement in any case to live in Chile. Given the above and also to validate people and relates to the team already hired.

Any formal courses, certifications or training you have with respect to the Data Science position would be appreciated.
