Framework agreement for cooperation in R&D&I with the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences and Quality of Life at the University of the Basque Country (
)
The agreement with CoreDevX makes it possible to accelerate research and innovation projects, offer advanced training to students and teachers, and promote technology transfer in real environments, such as clinics and USS health centers. It also contributes to the creation of new professional profiles at the intersection of health and technology, driving scientific and territorial development with social impact.
In 2025, the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences and Quality of Life (FCRCV) at the University of San Sebastián (USS) formed a strategic alliance with CoreDevX and its laboratory specializing in advanced technologies (LABTAV), with the aim of strengthening research and innovation (R&D&I) in health and rehabilitation.
The vice dean of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences and Quality of Life at USS, Daniel Martínez, explained that "this alliance gives us direct access to cutting-edge know-how and technology that seeks to complement and accelerate several of our lines of research and innovation in rehabilitation."
Additionally, this agreement strengthens lines of research such as generative AI and computer vision for analyzing results in rehabilitation, robotics and assisted devices for support and mobility therapies, clinical simulation, digital twins and augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR), prototyping and 3D printing, and quantum exploration.
The agreement will develop projects that integrate science, clinical practice, and territorial challenges, in line with the faculty's "3-i" seal: Technological Innovation, Social Innovation, and Territorial Impact.
