Visit by delegation from the Catholic University of the North
We were honored to welcome a delegation from the Universidad Católica del Norte to the coreDevX facilities. The delegation included Aldo Quelopana Retamal, Department Chair of Computer & Systems Engineering, and Brian Keith, Secretary of Research and Technological Development for the School of Engineering and Geological Sciences.
It was two intense days of meetings and brainstorming, during which we explored the various challenges facing the mining and energy sectors in the academic, public, and private spheres in light of the emergence of cutting-edge technologies such as quantum computing, the Internet of Things, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
On this occasion, we added to the work already carried out jointly throughout 2024 a series of concrete short-, medium-, and long-term initiatives, which will undoubtedly contribute to the development of Chile and, specifically, the Antofagasta Region.
Once again, we thank the Universidad Católica del Norte for the trust placed in us and for being a key partner on this exciting journey of knowledge, science, and technology.
