coreDevX delivers the first quantum computer for academic purposes to a university in Chile, the University of La Frontera.
We are proud to announce that we have delivered the first quantum computer from SpinQ Technology Inc. to the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences at UFRO, the University of La Frontera, specifically to the Department of Computer Science and Informatics.
This milestone represents a significant step forward in the university's mission to drive technological and academic innovation.
In the words of Dr. Samuel Sepúlveda, director of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, "We are at a point in computing that could be compared to the early days of computing in the 1930s and 1940s, when everything was just beginning, and now we are experiencing it again, but we already know what happened. So the idea is to take this new technology and see how, from a software development perspective, we can apply and adapt the accumulated experience and, in some way, make the most of the capabilities of these machines," said Sepúlveda, who is also the academic responsible for the "Fortalece Academia" project.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Professor Samuel Sepúlveda, who successfully managed this acquisition, to the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences, Gonzalo Valdes Vidal, and to everyone present at this historic event.
At coreDevX, we are committed to promoting new technologies and excellence in higher education and scientific research. We continue to build the future with cutting-edge science and technology.
