coreDevX is certified by CORFO as a Research and Development Center under its own codeSR-263, making it one of the few R&D centers in Chile specializing in applied research in the field of information technology.

Companies are eligible for this tax incentive once CORFO certifies their (external) R&D contracts or (internal) R&D projects.
To do so, they must submit a certification application to Corfo, which will verify that the proposals meet the requirements set forth by law. Specifically, it will be verified that:
- The activities must be aimed at conducting R&D as defined by the Act.
- The costs involved must be consistent with market conditions.
