coreDevX at La Moneda Palace: Launch of the Report on the Quantum Ecosystem in Chile

On September 27, coreDevX had the honor of attending La Moneda Palace to witness a key milestone in Chile's technological development: the launch of the report "Recommendations and Challenges for Strengthening the Quantum Ecosystem in Chile.". This event marks a significant step forward in the promotion of quantum technologies in the country, and we are proud to have participated in it.

coreDevX was recognized as one of three Chilean companies highlighted in the report for its development and offering of quantum solutions for the market. This recognition highlights our work in implementing quantum technologies, the result of a decade of work and strategic alliances with both academic institutions and international companies. As noted in the report, close collaboration with public and private actors will be essential to consolidating Chile as a global leader in this revolutionary technology.

The report also sets out a clear roadmap, presenting 15 key recommendations to ensure the growth of the quantum ecosystem in Chile:

1. Define a National Plan or Strategy for Quantum Technologies.

2. Develop a regulatory framework that allows for the proper evolution and control of these technologies.

3. Create a National Quantum Technologies Commission to coordinate the efforts of the ecosystem.

4. Establish guidelines for the application of Quantum-Safe in the short, medium, and long term, ensuring cybersecurity.

5. Create a quantum promotion unit within the National Research Agency.

6. Implement a strategy for Chile's participation in the global quantum technology ecosystem.

7. Develop advanced infrastructure, including new national laboratories.

8. Promote the attraction and retention of talent in areas related to quantum technologies.

9. Promote civic education at different levels on these emerging technologies.

10. Establish competitive funds to promote research in the quantum field.

11. Design a training and refresher program for advanced human capital in quantum technologies.

12. Promote the development of solutions based on these technologies for various sectors.

13. Encourage the adoption of quantum technologies in strategic industries in the country.

14. Create a Center for Innovation and Pilot Testing in Quantum Technologies to promote applied research.

15. Support the creation of startups and partnerships with established companies, ensuring an innovative ecosystem.
