Innovation Day at the University of the Andes
On Monday, November 25, we had the honor of attending the 8th Innovation Day, an event organized by the University of the Andes that brought together leading academics, professors, and representatives from various institutions to explore the fascinating world of quantum computing. This meeting stood out for the enriching conversations we had with experts in the field, as well as for the interest shown by representatives of the Navy in this cutting-edge technology.
During the event, we had the opportunity to talk with Ayseen Etcheberry, Minister of Science, and representatives from the National Research and Development Agency (ANID). Together, we exchanged experiences and perspectives on the future of science and technology in our country, reaffirming our commitment to scientific and technological advancement.
The event featured presentations by prominent figures such as Claudio Orrego, Governor of the Metropolitan Region, and José Miguel Benavente, Vice President of Corfo. Both shared valuable insights on regional development and innovation, emphasizing the importance of these issues for the country's progress.
We would like to congratulate the University of the Andes for its outstanding work in the field of innovation. Anil Saragendani, Director of the area, presented the achievements made in 2024 and the progress planned for 2025, demonstrating the institution's commitment to technological development.
Our participation included setting up a booth, where we were able to show attendees the technologies we are working on, allowing for a direct and enriching exchange of ideas.The day ended with an enjoyable dinner.
