Last Thursday, August 14, we had the pleasure of participating in the talk "IoT in Action," part of the Los Lagos Digital program, held at the Hotel Cabaña del Lago in Puerto Varas.

The presentation was led by our Automation and Robotics Engineer, Germán Troncoso C, together with our Innovation and Ecosystems Leader, Ignacio Meléndez, who discussed how the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is impacting and transforming various productive sectors. 🤖

During the session, we explored the development and evolution of IIoT, focusing on its main advances and specific applications in industries such as mining and logistics. In addition, the strategic value of the Los Lagos Region in terms of sustainability was highlighted, addressing how IoT is driving emerging trends in the foodtech and agrotech sectors, which are fundamental to the productive future of the area.

The meeting also provided a valuable networking opportunity, which encouraged the exchange of ideas, conversation, and the creation of networks within the local technology ecosystem.
