We are looking for a Visualization Engineer to create, maintain, and manage business intelligence dashboards. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in these areas as a creator, data extractor, and validator, as well as hands-on experience with the tools listed below.
Job Responsibilities
The role involves helping to create data visualization models as part of a multidisciplinary team working on a business support project aimed at monetizing existing data derived from payment transactions.
The team will provide the necessary resources and guidelines so that the lead engineer can focus exclusively on the best way to visualize the data that has already been provided. In addition to the Visualization Engineer, the team includes data scientists, API developers, data engineers, and business consultants with extensive experience in this field.
We are looking for a data visualization engineer who takes data and turns it into something everyone can understand using data visualization tools.
Job Requirements
Programming skills in a scripting language. Experience with solutions such as ClickView, Tableau, or similar tools. Familiarity with similar tools in the AWS stack. Knowledge of descriptive statistics and data modeling to better visualize trends.
The process includes, if you are shortlisted, personal interviews and various technical tests.
- We're looking for people with a youthful spirit, an open mind, and a positive attitude who can handle the emotional ups and downs that transformational projects bring and demand.
- We are looking for people who are committed to expanding their knowledge every day, stay up to date on the latest technological trends, and are not afraid to take on new and exciting challenges.
- Ideal if you write and speak English or another language (though this is not a requirement).
As part of our Gender Gap 0 Policy, it’s a plus if you’re a woman, since we want to increase the number of female engineers at our company. If you also have experience working in multidisciplinary teams, that’s a huge plus for us.
We accept applicants from other cities across the country, preferably in the southern region. In any case, applicants must reside in Chile. This requirement is in place to verify applicants’ eligibility and ensure they are a good fit for the existing team.
Optional
Knowledge of specific products or solutions not mentioned here that can assist you in your daily work—such as libraries, data visualization tools (like GCP’s Data Studio or similar), or methodologies for improving performance as a Visualization Engineer—would be a plus.
