We are a private company that specializes in researching and enabling the dynamics that occur in the development of activities related to creation and innovation in information technology for large companies. In this context, coreDevX specializes in helping our clients succeed by working and researching continuously in areas such as IT innovation, IT governance, modern IT policies, advanced software development techniques, disruptive methodologies, modern programming dynamics, local practices, typical problems, and in general the phenomena surrounding these types of activities.

coreDevX is a CORFO-certified R&D center in the field of Information Technology. We have three constructs on which we base our research work in the field of modern software development.

1) A community of software development companies (software houses, or various manufacturing or service companies with software development departments) that make up a "Statistical Database of Software Development Projects in Chile," which we use to provide and share both the neutral data we consolidate and the conclusions and findings we discover. We report to this community at least every six months.

2) A series of strategic cooperation agreements with universities and technology companies with which we design and implement activities related to improving software development practices. This allows us to test hypotheses and conduct experiments to validate conclusions and prototypes for new and better ways of developing software.

3) With three offices abroad (San Francisco, Berlin, and Tel Aviv) that provide us with trends and basic knowledge with the greatest potential to be incorporated early on into our local service offering.

At coreDevX, we offer all our services without exception in Agile Cell mode. In practice, this means that all our services correspond to the delivery and availability of a Cell of specialized Engineers as required. This Cell is assigned to carry out the activities necessary to achieve its self-managed task in Agile mode, using WorldClass tools. The Cell has a fixed monthly fee. coreDevX does not provide any turnkey services or activities.

Our company provides consulting services for solutions involving hardware components such as sensors and microcontrollers of various types. We have extensive experience and knowledge in this area. For example, we have experience in building autonomous displacement devices based on ROS and depth sensors, among others (such as Primesense). We use libraries and APIs such as OpenCV, PyBrains, and MatLab, among others. However, we prefer to coordinate implementation activities in conjunction with our hardware partners.

What we do directly in the field of hardware relates to programming robotic automation or microcontroller solutions. That is, we code the embedded software within autonomous robots or robotic arms. The expansion of the functions of these devices and the programming of specific tasks.

Yes, our company provides consulting services in innovation. However, we specialize in innovation and innovation practices for technological areas, mainly software development. That is our core business, Dev for developers and X for the variety of knowledge and what remains to be discovered in order to find better ways of developing software.
