We are looking for a highly qualified DevOps Engineer with experience in Jenkins application deployment. The ideal candidate should have knowledge in Python application development, demonstrable knowledge in the use of SQL and NoSQL databases, and recipe orchestration through Terraform in AWS environments.
Job requirements
- We use Jenkins, so the person must be able to configure and manage the continuous deployment of applications. Must have experience in creating and maintaining pipelines and scripts to automate the deployment process.
- Must be able to establish connections, execute SQL queries and perform data extraction, transformation and loading operations.
- Must be able to work on building application images using Docker, as well as write and maintain Dockerfile files, and understand container and virtualization concepts.
- Must be able to work on creating Kubernetes clusters and make use of kubectl commands. It is a plus if you know how to use tools like Rancher and Lens.
- We work with different Cloud services, so we are looking for a person who is proficient in the main services such as instances, networks and databases.
