We are looking for a highly qualified DevOps Engineer with experience deploying applications using Jenkins. The ideal candidate should have experience developing Python applications, demonstrable proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience orchestrating playbooks using Terraform in AWS environments.
Job Requirements
As a consulting firm, we specialize in helping large companies transform their software development departments to automate processes from the early stages of development through to automated deployment, establish and promote the most efficient DevOps practices, and ensure a comprehensive understanding of the entire software lifecycle. This involves creating robust automation for the entire software development process, encompassing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD), as well as integrating automated testing and ensuring application operability.
- We use Jenkins, so the candidate must be able to configure and manage continuous application deployment. They must have experience creating and maintaining pipelines and scripts to automate the deployment process.
- You must be able to establish connections, run SQL queries, and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading operations.
- You must be able to build application images using Docker, as well as write and maintain Dockerfiles, and understand the concepts of containers and virtualization.
- You must be able to work on setting up Kubernetes clusters and use kubectl commands. Familiarity with tools such as Rancher and Lens is a plus.
- We work with various cloud services, so we are looking for someone who is familiar with key services such as instances, networks, and databases.
It's also a huge plus if you drive and have hands-on experience in any of the following areas:
- Previous experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Python Development
- Terraform
- Git
- Visual Studio Code
- Snowflake
